While Alex was napping, we decided to take Amelia to play in the water. The last time Amelia went to the beach she was ten months old. Things were much different this time around:
Amelia refuses to put her feet in the sand. She calls it "icky." Even when she has her shoes/sandals on, she walks on her tippy toes.
Amelia doesn't like being in the pool or the ocean. (She warmed up to the pool towards the end our our stay, but preferred to stay out of the water.)
Grabbing on for dear life
We tried to get her to splash in the water, but she kept lifting her feet up!
Thank goodness for the splash area. That was one of the few things she enjoyed.
She liked to play in the sand, but her feet couldn't touch the sand, ha ha.
