Olympics & Gymnastics

Amelia has been enjoying the Olympics.  We have been letting her stay up a little bit past her bedtime and allow to watch a few events in the evenings.  Her favorite events are the track and field races.  During the races she loves to say, "Ready, set, go!!" and runs around all over the place.

Amelia has been going to gymnastics class since she was four months old.  It's always been her special father-daughter time with Jimmy.  It's their "thing."  She loves to rough house and is quite the daredevil, so it's a perfect outlet for her.

The class format at her new gym is much different than her classes at The Little Gym in DC.  She is lumped in with much older children and is expected to follow direct instructions on her own.  We were worried at first, but she is doing awesome.  I'm actually glad that they have high expectations for our almost two-year-old.  She is fitting in very well with the older children.
