We created this blog to keep friends and family updated with what we are up to! We are a military family, so we are always far from home and the people we love. Right now we are stationed at Fort Campbell and live in Tennessee.

Great Wolf Lodge II
Amelia and Alex were obsessed with the wave pool. They stayed there for hours...
We put Andrew's bouncy in a wagon, so he could nap while we were at the water park. It was so convenient and he was very comfortable!

Great Wolf Lodge I
We had planned for a quiet Christmas at home this year, since we would have no out of town visitors and had no plans for travel. However, as Christmas approached, Amelia and Alex begged and begged to go to The Great Wolf Lodge again this year.

So, as a last minute adventure, we decided to make the trip to Cincinnati to celebrate the holidays. We are wondering if this will eventually become a tradition...
The Great Wolf Lodge is a resort centered around all things "children." Jimmy and I love it because it makes for an easy, laid back vacation with young kids (which is pretty much unheard of!). Once we arrive at the resort, we get into our lounge clothes, relax, have fun, and never have to leave!
Everything we need is at the resort, there are plenty of fun activities and events for the kids to do, and all is within walking distance from our room. The laid back atmosphere and convenience to everything is appreciated by us very much and we can just focus on quality family time and lounging around.
It is also funny to think that last year, I was pregnant with Andrew. I was sick and tired as I was still in my first trimester..Technically, this will be Andrew's second visit here.
Since this was the big kids' second visit, they were extra excited because they knew where everything was and what to expect. They already knew which activities they wanted to do. It brought them so much comfort and joy. They were on their best behavior during our entire stay and kept thanking us for taking them there.
My heart was so full; our entire family, together and happy! It made the trip worth it and we are considering coming back again next Christmas.

Big kids and daddy were out exploring while Andrew slept by the fireplace and I enjoyed a box of chocolates. Ahhh, peace and quiet.
