Big Sister Transition

The transition has been difficult for Amelia.  Not only does she have a new little brother, but she has been sick with an ear infection, cold, and has new molars coming in!  Poor Mimi.  It's a good thing Jimmy's mom has been staying with us to help ease her into big sisterhood.

At first, she cried when Alex cried.  She also cried whenever she saw us holding him.  It was tough.  She has also been extra needy and cranky, but we don't know if this is attributed by the fact that she's sick and teething or adjusting to the new baby in the house.  Either way, it's been hard to see her so miserable.

Now that she's getting over her sickness and has had a few days to get used to her brother, she is finally getting back to her old self and it finally starting to show an interest in her baby bro.  I'm hoping that from here on out, things will only get better...
