Alex, 10 Week Update

Once Alex grew out of the colic, he has been such a mellow and easy baby.  Now he only really cries when he's tired or hungry.

Here's an update:

- 12+ pounds at his eight week check-up (Amelia weighs 18 pounds at 18 months)
-Only wakes up 1-2 times per night, yaaaaay!
-Loves to sleep in his swing, even if it's not swinging
-Smiles all the time
-He's getting really close to giggling (I'm so excited!)... right now, he grunts and coos loudly like he's going to laugh
-Wears size 3-6 months clothing... although, some of the 3-6 months pants are already too tight!
-Wears size 3 disposable diapers... the same size as his big sister
-Cloth diapers are also the same size as Amelia
-Starting to grow out of his bouncy... he's so heavy, his bottom touches the ground
-Strong kicker
-Loves to be held up like he's standing
-Rolls from side to side
-Loves staring at his mobile
-Starting to play... grabbing and swatting at his toys
-He's a nursing machine!  It usually only takes him about 15 minutes to eat.  However, 2-3 times a day, he'll nurse for 1-1.5 straight.  It's tough (and annoying) because I'm stuck in one place for so long.

"I'm grabbing at things!"

Nerd Face

A big smile!  It's too bad the picture turned out blurry.
