Butler's Orchard

We went to check out the Harvest Festival at Butler's Orchard today.  We were blessed with plenty of sunshine and 75 degree weather.  With the exception of the barn full of hay, Amelia really enjoyed herself.  Her favorite activity was the petting zoo.

Butler's Orchard also has a pumpkin patch, but we are going to check it out next weekend.  We were having so much fun at the Harvest Festival that we stayed well past her nap time and thought it would be best just to take her home, rather than stay another hour or so to pick out pumpkins.

Since we are going next weekend, it also gives us more time to not only pick our pumpkins, but other fruits and vegetables as well!  We are looking forward to it.  We took her there last year and have been anticipating taking her as a toddler for a year now!

First stop, barn full of hay... FAIL.

Petting zoo was a hit!

Ms. Amelia Doolittle was talking to the animals the whole time.

Amelia is 30 inches this Fall ;0)

Trying to find daddy in the maze

Playing peek-a-boo on the playground

Jimmy and I enjoyed caramel apples, while Amelia had a caramel Mum Mum, ha ha ha.  She kept pointing to the caramel because she wanted more!

Lost in the corn maze... we eventually found our way out.
