Dixie, my parents' dog, and Amelia became instant friends! Thank goodness Dixie is a very patient dog. Dixie allows Amelia to pull at her ears, ride her, crawl all over her, slap her, and grab her paws. Amelia loves animals.
At first, Amelia kept calling Dixie "at." "At" is her version of the word cat. It was hilarious. She would crawl around yelling out "at, at, at" every time she saw Dixie. After about a week, she has now learned to say, "Dix-eeeeeee."
