Family Pictures 2014

This year, we decided to do our annual family pictures in downtown Clarksville.  We had to reschedule our first session due to the high winds and below freezing temperatures.  Unfortunately, it was still very very cold during our rescheduled date.

The kids were in terrible moods due to the freezing temperatures and early session time.  They cried pretty much the whole time.  Oh well, I'm just glad we got a few good shots in!  I dread family pictures every year, but always feel lucky to have the pictures in the end.

Amelia started crying about 10 minutes into our session and didn't stop.  That's why she only ended up with two pictures and we got zero pictures of the kids together.

Of course, Alex was soon to follow with the crying, but we were able to coax him to smile with candy and take a few shots.

Chuck E Cheese

After a disastrous family picture session, we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese to perk them up.

This will probably be our Christmas card picture since the kids pretty much cried the entire time during our photo session

BACH Holiday Ball 2014

This year's theme was The Great Gatsby and Jimmy and I (and Alex) were part of the planning committee, so we helped a lot with the planning and set up of the event.

OMG, Jimmy and I had a blast!  We sat with all our friends and were the "rowdy" table of the evening.  We laughed so hard that we cried and then spent the rest of the evening on the dance floor.  Seriously.  There was even one point where Jimmy and I were the only ones on the dance floor, ha ha, dancing to the EDM version of Lana Del Ray's Young and Beautiful.  I think we put on a good show, ha ha.  We don't get out much without the kiddos, so I guess we went a little crazy.  Out of the 350+ guests, we were the last ones to leave... mostly to make sure everyone got home safe ;0)

Commander Alexander

Alex's new nickname is Commander Alexander.  While Mimi is at preschool, Alex and I volunteer at the hospital.  It's been really busy the last two months, so we are there two to three times a week.  Last week, we were at the hospital four days of the week!  Alex attends multiple committee meetings, FRG meetings, fundraisers, and hospital events regularly.  Alex has become somewhat of a permanent fixture at the hospital and recognized by so many people.

Mowin'

Mowing is hard work, so we treated the kids with popsicles.  Alex was upset because he wanted a red popsicle, ha ha.

Movember

Mimi is not pictured because she refused to wear the mustache, stating "it's stinky and ugly."
