Wrapping up the holidays

Amelia's first Christmas was fabulous.  Steven, my brother, was here to celebrate it with us, so it was extra special.  Although we were away from our family, we were able to Skype and open presents through the web cam. It was actually really fun!

Almost all the presents under our tree were for Amelia. She got lots of toys, clothes, and books.  We got her an Exersaucer, but she's still too little for it.  The cats also had a blast with all their new toys and played in the wrapping paper and ribbons all morning.

On Christmas day, Amelia rolled over from her stomach to her back! She may have just "fallen" over, but she did it multiple times, so we'll make an official entry in her baby book.

To celebrate the New Year, we kept it low key and stayed in.  We had a Dexter marathon, watched a movie, and then watched the ball drop in New York (on TV of course).  A friend of ours brought over "real" champagne from France, so we had a New Years toast as well.

Amelia is pretty excited about the champagne
