Bedtime Routine

Amelia and Alex have such a close relationship.  Don't get me wrong, they have their disagreements and brawls, ha ha.  However, when they are getting along, it is soooooo good.  It just warms my heart to see them genuinely like to be together, giggle, and play.

Bedtime is probably the best (and cutest) time to watch these kids interact with each other.  They do their best to try to stall bedtime.  They sneak into each others bedrooms to play, read books, or just talk.  Once Alex does fall asleep, Amelia goes into his room to check on him.  It is just adorable!

Playing doctor:
"Geo, check my foot.  It hurts."

Treatment Plan:
"I need to shot it with my gunner."

Tracks and Forts

Brrrrrrr... It's so cold outside and winter is upon us!  We spend a lot of time indoors and have to come up with creative things to do in the house.  The kids new obsession is Hot Wheels tracks.  Their creativity and ambition is both exciting and hilarious!

Yup, Amelia has the track on her head

I'll just tell you right now.  This didn't end well.

Seahawks vs. Niners

Jimmy took a trip to Seattle to watch the Seahawks play the Forty Niners. He flew from Tennessee with a friend from work and met up with Jennifer and Ben in Seattle.  Jimmy has been planning for this trip since last year.  Unfortunately, he had to miss the Superbowl last year due to an Army training course. They had a blast and the Seahawks won the game!

The kids were happy and excited to see Santa... Yay!  Both Amelia and Alex asked for the same thing, a scooter and binoculars.

Ginger Bread Houses

Alex kept trying to eat the candy and frosting.  He needed constant redirection.

Jimmy was very focused.

Amelia, like her daddy, was focused and striving for perfection.

"Geo, this is how you do it."

Little Lehmans' Little Tree

Per tradition, we put up our Christmas tree on Thanksgiving weekend.  We always let the kids do all the decorating.  It may not be perfect, but our tree is always beautiful and made with love!

The kids' favorite thing to do is put all the ornaments on the tree, then take all of them off... only to put them back on again!  They call it the "tree center."  This process goes on for hours.

Auntie Jen was here this year to help out!
