-Snacks constantly

 

-Hates peas, being changed in a public restroom

 

-Loves the cats: chases them around the house, grabs their tails, smiles at them whenever they walk by

 

-Babbling like crazy: " mm-mmm-mmm" seems to be his favorite sound

 

-Loves bath time, chewing on puzzle pieces, blocks, being outside, being worn, roughhousing

 

-Imitates others: clapping, waving, smiling, babbling

 

-Crawling up the stairs

 

-Cruises everywhere, likes it when people hold his hands to walk

 

-Starting to tolerate the stroller

 

-Wants whatever Amelia is playing with (and vice versa!)

Lola is Here!

My mom will be visiting us for a few weeks.  Amelia and Alex are enjoying all the special attention.  Not only am I enjoying my mom's company, but she is also a big help with the kids.

 

We took the kids to the Greenway for a walk.  Some of the leaves were already starting to change colors.  It was beautiful!  My greatest memory was watching my mom and Amelia attempt to catch the falling leaves.

Amelia Owl

Originally, I got Amelia a fabulous full body monkey costume.  In true diva form, she refused to wear it.  I returned it and searched for a more simple, diva friendly costume. 

 

As you can see, Amelia loves her new owl costume.  She has worn it every day since she got it and gets really upset when she has to take it off.  It's already dirty and the wings are damaged, but I'm glad she loves it.  Hopefully it will stay together until Halloween!
